Cancel and Return Items

At Betel.com we honour a 30-day return policy.

There are few scenarios where an item can be returned,

A) Item is deemed damaged or defective. 

If you have a defective or a damaged item, please reach out to us by phone or email, we will work with you to find the best solution. 

If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a prepaid return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once the item returns to our warehouse, our team will inspect it. If it is in brand new/unused condition, we will process the refund within 7 working days.

B) Item doesn’t match the existing décor or style

If you feel the item doesn't complement your home décor or style, you can always return the item and request a refund within 30 days of purchasing it. If you are returning an item due to not matching the décor/style, you will need to pay for applicable shipping costs and we will deduct a restocking fee from you. To start a return, please visit contact us via telephone or email to initiate a return request. 

When returning an item, please ensure that the product is brand new and unused. All returns must be shipped back using the original packaging. If you do not have the original packaging on hand, you will need to pay an additional $45 repackaging fee for each item in addition to the shipping cost.

Once the product is received back in our warehouse, seller will start to process refund via the original payment method used when the item was ordered, after deducting the shipping label cost. 

In order to avoid being rejected due to lack of packaging when you want to exchange or return, we ask our customers not to process/recycle or throw away original packaging. 30-day returns must be packed in original packaging and all the items that were a part of the product must be returned.  Returned merchandise that does not satisfy these requirements may not qualify for a refund.

Tip:  Until you are confident that the item purchased is suitable for your home or needs, we recommend that you fold the box flat and store it.
For product returns due to damaged or defects, you will get a pre-paid return label that allows you to return the item to the warehouse. You can download the return label in the  

Free exchange

You can exchange the same product with different colors in the order within 30 days after delivery. The shipping fee for the first replacement item is free. If you decide to exchange the product again (ie more than once), you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Once the item returns to our warehouse, our team will inspect it. If it is brand new, we will refund within 7 working days minus the return shipping fee (except for returns caused due damages or defects

There are few exceptions to the 30-day return/refund policy 

30-day returns are only accepted when the item is returned with original contents boxed with the original packaging; returned merchandise that does not satisfy these requirements may not qualify for a refund.

There are few exceptions to the 30 day return policy. Please note that below items are not a part of 30 return program:

o Used items

o Special Priced Items

o Flash Deals

o Individual items in bundle discounts (unless the entire bundle is returned)

o Shipped by trucks **

o Any item after 30 days from the delivery day

** Items that weighs less than 150lbs will be dispatched by UPS. While items that are weigh more than 150lbs will be delivered by truck.

Order Cancellations Before the Order is Processed

If your order has not been shipped, you can cancel using one of the methods below.   

Log into "My Account" page and click the "Cancel Order" next to the purchase. You will receive a canceled order confirmation email shortly.

Access your order anytime by clicking on the green “View your order” button in your Order confirmation email and then click on ‘Cancel Order’.

If your order has not been shipped, we will arrange a full refund.

If the order is already in transit, we need to contact the shipping company to recall the order and arrange a full refund for you.

Please note: Any items delivered by trucks or USPS cannot be recalled. If the recall fails, refuse delivery acceptance from UPS and Fedex upon the arrival of your products.


Order Cancellations After the Order is Processed

Refusal to Accept Delivered Item

If you rejected your order at the time of delivery, please contact us asap.  If we do not receive your rejection notice, the refund or exchange may be delayed.

If the item is rejected due to damage or defect, please send us photos that clearly shows the damage, so that we can review and resolve the issue.

Items lost in transit

If you suspect that your package is missing/lost, please send an email to support@betel.com quoting the order number and tracking number to our customer service team. We will then initiate a lost package claim with the shipping company.

The process to track your lost package, will take approximately 7 days. Once we receive the official confirmation from the shipping company, we will begin processing your refund.

Refund

When you place an online order, we authorize your credit card to make sure sufficient credit is available. We can only issue refunds through the original method used to pay for the order. Depending on your credit card provider, it may take up to 10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your balance. If the original payment method is no longer available, we are happy to issue store coupons/store credit equal to the refund amount.

Please note:  We do not provide recycling or shipment services for old and second-hand furniture.

Tips: 

-To ensure you have a smooth return experience, we recommend you do not recycle/throw away the packing unless you are satisfied with the item received
